I started my design process by drawing a face of a lion and and breaking it down into multiple parts which would make it easier to find the elements i want to use.

My design also includes features of a clown, which are high lighted in the drawing above
These tear drop shapes are one of the most used elements that i found and they are meant to represent the lions hair.
